FPSB Ireland celebrates 15 years delivering CFP® Certification

FPSB Ireland proudly marks 15 years of delivering the esteemed CFP certification programme. Recognised at the recent Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. Global Conference, the organisation has been recognised for its commitment to establishing financial planning as a respected profession both in Ireland and globally.  CFP certification has been instrumental in elevating the standards within the financial planning industry in Ireland, ultimately leading to enhanced outcomes for consumers.

From the idea of a professional practice called financial planning in the early 1970s, to the call for an independent organisation to oversee CFP certification internationally in the late 1990s, and FPSB Ireland initially joining as an associate member in 2007 before becoming an affiliate member the following year, the road to a global financial planning profession has had many twists and turns over the past five decades, and just as many dedicated travellers.

FPSB Ireland expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the countless volunteers who have generously devoted their time and expertise to serve on various committees, working groups, and panels over the past 15 years. Their continuous support and contributions have been integral to the achievements of this significant milestone. Here’s to the next 15 years of continued success and progress!
