The creation of FPSB Ireland represents commitment to the emergence of Financial Planning as a respected profession in Ireland and globally, and will strengthen our ability to educate the public about the Financial Planning process and about the professionalism of Financial Planners who have committed to competent and ethical behavior in Ireland. Consistent with developments in other countries FPSB Ireland will attempt to ensure that CFP Certificants in Ireland meet Competency and Ethics standards which are based on a platform of Education, Examination, Experience and Ethics requirements.
