Using practical scenarios and insights from an ethics committee perspective, the webinar will demonstrate how the FPSB Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility applies to everyday interactions.

It will also outline what the updated CPC means for financial planners in 2026 and how ethical principles align with emerging regulatory expectations. The focus is on making ethics tangible, relatable, and directly connected to high-quality financial planning practice. 

This webinar will draw on both academic insight and practical experience, with Colin Slabach exploring sustainable withdrawal strategies and how to manage longevity and sequence of returns risk.

He will also look at retirement planning in an Irish context, drawing on how the US market has evolved over the past 20 years to better engage consumers in investing for retirement, both personally and through pensions.
