Scam email requesting payment

We have been made aware of a fraudulent email currently being sent to some CFP® Professionals. This email falsely claims to be from FPSB Ireland and requests payment for membership subscriptions.

The scam email may come from an email ending in @centrum.cz, but please be aware that the sender’s address could change. It may also include messages such as:

  • ‘If you’ve already paid please reply to this email and attach a copy of your payment confirmation for our records.’
  • ‘To pay now, simply reply to this email, and we will send you the necessary steps to complete the transaction.’

Please be assured:

  • FPSB Ireland will only send emails from @fpsb.ie
  • We will never ask you to make payments or share payment confirmation via email
  • Licence renewals must be made by logging into the FPSB Ireland website www.fpsb.ie and making payment online, or by downloading an invoice.

If you receive a suspicious email:

  • Do not reply, click any links, or share any personal or payment information.
  • Then delete it immediately
  • If you have replied to the scammers' email, please forward any correspondence to [email protected].

Your online security is extremely important to us. If you’re ever unsure whether an email is genuinely from FPSB Ireland, please contact us directly at [email protected] or by phone 01 455 0150.
