This year’s theme, 'Beyond the Numbers - Beyond The Expected' will look beyond traditional approaches to explore the changing nature of financial planning and the opportunities this presents for CFP® professionals.
Bringing together the latest research, practical experience and expert perspectives, the conference will explore three key themes:
- AI in Financial Planning: Where does artificial intelligence meet professional judgement? AI is changing how information is accessed and financial advice is delivered. We will explore the opportunities, risks and responsibilities that come with its growing role in financial planning, and where the expertise and judgement of the CFP® professional remain essential.
- The New Retirement Reality: From participation to preparedness - are clients really ready for retirement? More people are saving for retirement, but financial preparedness remains a significant challenge. We'll explore new approaches to measuring retirement readiness and how organisations across the pensions and financial services sector are working together to bridge the gap between participation and preparedness, and deliver better outcomes for clients.
- The Psychology of Retirement: The Last commute - Understanding Life After Work. Retirement is about much more than financial security. We'll explore the emotional, behavioural and personal dimensions of this major life transition, and how a deeper understanding can help CFP® professionals support clients through retirement and beyond.
