Neil Bage

Founder & CEO, Neurofi Behavioural Intelligence

Neil Bage is a behavioural science expert, keynote speaker, and Founder & CEO of Neurofi Behavioural Intelligence, a boutique UK consultancy helping financial institutions modernise how they understand and support financial decision-making.

With over two decades of research and practice, Neil draws on neuroscience, behavioural science, and positive psychology to address the emotional, cognitive, and contextual drivers behind how people engage with money. His work, which has included collaboration with behavioural scientists across Russell Group universities, challenges traditional assumptions and replaces them with evidence-based insight that reflects how humans actually think and behave.

His career includes founding a multi-award-winning behavioural technology business, serving as Chief Behavioural Officer for a UK financial planning firm, and co-founding a US-based behavioural science learning platform. As a keynote speaker, he has presented to tens of thousands of professionals across finance, law, and technology.

Ed Burns

Senior Consultant, Aon

Ed is an actuary and senior consultant in Aon’s UK wealth business, with over 9 years’ experience advising both trustees and corporate sponsors of pension schemes. He is passionate about improving the member experience and is part of Aon’s Member Options and Support Team, and this year has led the team’s research on how AI use may impact members’ retirement decision-making.

Kevin McConnell

Chief Executive, Gem Strategic

Kevin McConnell is Chief Executive of Gem Strategic, a specialist consultancy to financial institutions. Over a career spanning 30 years in capital markets, Kevin has worked as a strategic adviser to a range of global international institutions in the investment and banking industry, advising on capital, risk and strategy. He advises both European and North American financial institutions developing and testing capital resilience across ranges of economic and capital market scenarios/outcomes. Kevin also sits on the investment committee/board of a number of European financial institutions, in an active oversight role in investment strategy. He was, until recently, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Certified Investment Fund Director Institute and is a Senior Associate of Faculty, Institute of Banking Executive Education. Kevin is a Teaching Fellow in Wealth Management on the Masters in Finance, Trinity College Dublin and has lectured on Bank Capital & Risk in Cambridge University.
